***** I do agree with you to an extent, it's become an iPhone... but the twin turbo, the switch at the base of the shifting knob is cool and the thing i like the most is the touch screen... way better than the toggle i have to use on my 2014 countryman s all4 please the fully auto hatch back with the fold out pad that is hot!

And corrected the shortcomings of the 500x which is also on my short list. 1) More refined engine, 2) more rear leg room and rear seatback angle can't get worse, 3) Fiat sunroof prohibits roof rails needed for skis, kayak, etc and sunroof is mandatory in most packages, 4) Manual transmission at all trim levels rather than base Pop with no options as any option package adds automatic and 5) slightly longer vehicle (chassis shared with Clubman and BMW X1) and wheelbase a few inches wider. Downside is perhaps run-flat tires are harsher ride. Uncertain if can dolly tow FWD behind RV as manual for Clubman/X1 doesn't address "recreational towing" where Fiat specifically approves dolly towing of FWD 500x.
