This is a compilation of all the 2011 Mini Countryman WRC cars I saw during this year. Some videos are from the Monza Rally Show and from the Rally of Como.

@yellowbusguy its because of the anti-lag these cars use. even when the driver lifts off the throttle, the valves still open and air gets pumped through without fuel, to keep the pressure in the turbo. the result is that the exhaust gets extremely hot, thats why it glows and makes that farting sound. they also started using this in F1, but for a different reason. To keep blowing hot air over the rear of the car and the diffuser, even when the driver lifts off the throttle in the corners.

@19Bozzy92 A me i Rally moderni non piacciono molto(e le corse in generale)perchè ormai sono troppo livellate, cioè tutte uguali e limitate da troppe restrizzioni di ogni genere, però queste nuove WRC 1600 Turbo mi piacciono, e anche molto, l'unica cosa che non mi piace è che non ci sia un continuo stradale!Una versione stradale come poteva essere per la Delta! Cio è assurdo che la vecchia C4 oltre ad essere un cesso nella versione stradale arrivava ammalapena a 150 cv e nella versione WRC

The glowing exhaust tips, are they glowing because of a spark arrestor? I have noticed these in recent rallying videos.

È dire che nella versione stradale è veramenre brutta, orribile! Nella versione WRC-RRC è molto carina invece..
