Mini Countryman S 2024 review: Is the new petrol-powered small SUV flagship better than BMW X1?

The 2024 Mini Countryman represents the third generation of the iconic British brand's first SUV model. While small in size, the Countryman has grown over the years, to the point that it's now a segment-straddler. Either way, it's once again mechanically related to the BMW X1, although competition also comes in the form of the Lexus UX, Volvo XC40 and Audi Q3.
So, what's changed with the Countryman? Well, it still looks like a Mini, but the exterior design has been further modernised, but the big leaps have been saved for the interior, which impresses with its selection of diverse materials and industry-first circular OLED touchscreen multimedia system.

It looks AU$35,000 worth of lack of quality. It is in FACT, Utter rubbish! Enjoy the plastic, poor panel fit, dodgy electrics, a DCT?, useless on demand AWD, and they bolted a hairdryer to a petrol 2.0 litre to make things so much more worse than imaginable.
