After last time we had planned another weekend in Amsterdam. Actually 1 day but Andaz hotel in Amsterdam had invited us again to stay in their hotel. So sweet, they had made a photo album of Loulou & Coco. We had a great weekend. Loulou & Coco got a lot of impressions, they were so tired when they got home. The Andaz certainly takes good care of its guests - humans & pets! And the decor is so unusual. How nice they asked you back again. There seem to be very few skyscrapers in Amsterdam - is that true? If yes, that's another great reason to visit. A wonderful old city without massive dark shadows it it. Not to mention so many nice shops! ❤🐾🇺🇸🇳🇱 PS - now a nice pet-friendly hotel in Paris should send you an invitation - yes? 👍

They also got used to the crowds faster this time. It wasn't even very busy for Amsterdam because of the restrictions in the Netherlands. They were doing very well and she recognized the hotel. xx

It looks as though they were invited to this hotel because of the dogs, they are KZbin and Instagram stars so it is good advertisement for the hotel too. I think it's fairly easy to find a pet friendly hotel these days.

Yes, a holiday without Loulou & Coco is not an option for us. We would miss them way too much. We book holidays where dogs are allowed. This year we are going to the south of France in the summer. A house by a river. Loulou & Coco will love it. xx

@@janeward722 Yes this hotel is pet friendly and they want to emphasize that everyone is welcome, including pets. And indeed because of our reach on social media we were allowed to stay there. Fortunately, there is a lot to be found in the Netherlands where dogs are allowed. Restaurants, hotels, holiday homes.

Loulou and Coco may enjoy watching the dachshunds on 'Doggy Day Car Farm Trips', where a wonderful Australian couple Luke and Sam and their family run a very special day care and rescue rehabilitation farm for dogs and puppies.The dachshunds who go to the farm on day trips are so hilarious. Full of energy and bolder than most of the big dogs - swimming, diving, chasing, running, playing, joining in all the activities........ it really shows everyone the huge personalities of dachshunds! Type in Atlas, Zeus and dachshunds to watch them. xx

We had a black mini datsun that lived from 1967 until 1983. His name was Mister and he looked just like Lou Lou and CoCo. Even his eyes had that same blue tint as Lou Lou and CoCo when the light would hit his eyes in a certain kind of way. Watching your videos always makes me think of Mister and brings back memories. Your channel is one of my favorites on KZbin. Amsterdam looks like a very beautiful city and very clean too. How far is it from your city? If I ever go to Europe, Amsterdam is one of the cities I would want to visit.

Right around 0:46 the light reflects oddly in Loulou's left eye, the way it does in a dog's eye afflicted by a cataract. Could she have an injury or was it just a trick of the light?

It's because it's a little darker. A kind of reflection of light that allows dogs to see better in the dark. xx

I love the scan as you go system at the market. It’s so much easier than taking everything out of the cart and then packed in a bag. Now you scan and put it in the bag and that’s it. I’ve only seen them in towns in NL when we are on vacation, but I’ve never seen any in Amsterdam. Most stores here are going all in on self check out.
