Great, Finally new videos! The process and development is incredibly interesting to follow. Thank you for posting.

Well; we also had to work. The video recording was on the side. And we didn't have a cameraman.

Could this work for very thin materials? Or would the explosive render them useless?
@Aruncillos2 жыл бұрын
Yes, you need to use auxiliary devices. Which: it depends on the thin material. We tested 0.1 mm Al and also Ag; approx. 2 cm² on steel.
@TheWizardGamez2 жыл бұрын
Depending on how this the metal you could just have a pucture/ year in the material. So the question is why?
@rock3tcatU2332 жыл бұрын
@@TheWizardGamez Basically the idea is to use a thin metal to clad another thicker metal. Mostly as a corrosion barrier.

Very good video. You are using liquid explosives? In the current industry liquid replaces the powder?
@Aruncillos8 жыл бұрын
Thanks; Yes; Liquid Oxygen Explosive of the new generation - "PMMA-LOX-Ex". Fuel is molecularly structured PMMA. The explosive is comparable to C4. And: This explosive is itself defuse and is suitable for automated use.
@jacobkudrowich4 жыл бұрын
@@Aruncillos the explosion is comparable to c4 but I'm afraid the explosive couldn't be father from c4.
@Aruncillos4 жыл бұрын
Comparable yes; But not the father of C4; the explosive "PMMA-LOX" was developed by us in 2004. It is relatively young.
@heinzhaupthaar55903 жыл бұрын
@@Aruncillos I think he meant to write 'further'. As in - one one hand the explosive is similar to C4, on the other hand it couldn't be further from it. Anyway, thanks for sharing some your work, it's a rare insight in an interesting profession and very appreciated!
@Aruncillos3 жыл бұрын
@@heinzhaupthaar5590 Yes it is. The released energy is slightly higher with PMMA-LOX-Ex than with Octogen and C4.

Which explosive material used??
@Aruncillos4 жыл бұрын
Molecular structured Polymethyl methacrylate (PMMA) mixed in LOX - PMMA-LOX-Ex

What 2 metals did you join and can you Manuel weld the after if needed
@Aruncillos6 жыл бұрын
Sorry because of my late answer. We connected a lot of different metals (there are publications). And yes - after Ex-connection same metals can be conventionally welded to the same metals.

I don't understand how this works?
@Aruncillos6 жыл бұрын
A stoichiometric mix of oxidizer and suitable molecular fuel particles are the basis for the reaction.

That steaming liquid they were pouring in that looked like like liquid nitrogen was actually LOX-ex, a kind of "Oxyliquit" which is a class of liquid-oxygen explosive (hence "LOX-ex") which comes from a family of HIGHLY potent explosives known as "Sprengel Explosives" named after their inventor/discoverer Hermann Sprengel in the late 19th century.

in cover in the background; prepares tests.
@Aruncillos6 жыл бұрын
In 1895, under the name "Oxyliquit", Carl von Linde developed an explosive. It was the first Liquid-Oxygen-Explosive. This new LOX-Ex uses molecular structured fuel particles (PMMA). This PMMA-LOX-Ex is stronger (triple product: density x detonation speed x energy/kg) than octogen.
@dakotadixon66366 жыл бұрын
It isn't an explosive, it's chemicals that are *explosive.*

well; I think, all that remains of the cookies is molecules. But, the metal "Gold" on steel or titanium etc. is successful.
