Hey all, I know it's been awhile since I've made an update on Killer Klowns! Long story short, it's hard for me to make videos now because of my day job which is voice over work. So I haven't had much free time to work on videos outside of other projects and sound design work. So, that's pretty much where I'm at right now. I do love Killer Klowns, and it has a few quirks here and there with the gameplay, but it's cool to see Illfonic already fixing it up. It's just as fun as Friday the 13th for me, and I hope Illfonic really takes it into a bigger place from where it is currently!

It's pretty sad when people watch my videos and they're fishing for anything to criticize me on, or be negative about and the best you can do is send me messages about the way I pronounce "Meta". Literally go outside and take in some sun, or talk to a friend (not online) or something. Some of ya'll are a joke.

Just wait until the game comes out and then people start complaining about balance issues because they get butt hurt about losing and then the games developers have to scramble the same way they're doing in Texas right now to fix any little thing that gets blown into a worldwide issue😂.

@@jasondavis2995 That's GUN Media that has had to do that for both Friday the 13th, and now Texas. Illfonic hasn't had to do that with their past 3 games. They just fixed them, themselves, listening to community feedback (the right way). Why would they stop for Klowns?

From what ive seen from the pax vids it looks like there are still human npc's as when klownpocalips happens it says npc killed

No one mentioned NPCs, even people I know who have played it, so unless they are pending to be in the game, I don't think there were any on the map at PAX. The gameplay I watched never had any walk across the screen.

(Update): Okay so there are bots in the game, but they only replace a survivor who has disconnected, so that's probably what you saw.

@@LaphinWell somebodies theory is that there will be NPCS scattered around the map for you to kill, because at PAX there would be random cocoons sitting around, and when the klownpocolypse appeared for somebody, it showed a "killed npc" prompt.

@@cast8060 The theory is that when a player disconnects from a match, their person becomes a bot. But we'll have to wait and see.

love the minigame idea but also hope the minigame rewards are not to high and will have a cooldown because it could be a strategy to die early and just put infinite shotgun ammo in the other players pocket :x this feature will make looting a lil useless with to much rewards.

Yo are you making another video on this game, I’d like to hear your thoughts on it now that it’s released. I’ve got mixed feelings on some things but it’s still insanely fun tbh.

I'm pretty busy with voice acting and working voice overs these days on the daily, so I don't have much time to make videos anymore, but I do love the game! Right now it's a bit of a mixed bag with some aspects of the gameplay, and it's all balanced related. I still have to play now that patch 1.2 has come out tho and give it another try when I get the time on Twitch!

I'm very excited about this game! I do disagree that perks it's self us what fosters competitive gameplay. As F13 had survivor perks, yet was an immense fun party game. TCM went to overboard with the perks effects making it unbalanced, where as F13 gave only a slight edge.

Friday The 13th had perks, but they were VERY minimum at best, .. I barely ever messed with the perks on that game. However on Texas Chainsaw perks and that tree are a HUGE focus for players. No one really made 'Player Build' type videos for F13 because it just wasn't necessary. But on Texas, people do, it's more of a focus, and thus players will focus on how to win in the best way. You even said it perfectly, in TCM, it's too much... where as in F13 it wasn't that big of a deal to have a few perks enabled and didn't promote that competitive nature among people.

SO base on the mini game it looks like it shown when you beat mini game. you get a random pick card to give them a item, health or other things to help them like maybe key items for exit.

So to explain the minigames more. Once you die there are a few different minigames that rotate out after you play one. When you complete a minigame, you have to pick a random card out of three options. Whatever card you pick will have an item such as a hamburger, a baseball bat, ammo for a gun, etc. If you died you have the option to either give the card to the player youre spectating, or keep the card foryourself for if you revived through the ressurection Machine and youll spawn with your cards. If you have escaped and your spectating you only have the option to give the spectating player the card that you chooses. You can also Hide the minigames in game if you just want to spectate - from Vahlzie
