I learn so much from your videos!!!! When you put the letters on the painters tape, emboss them that way AND get them on your card perfectly straight!?!? Unbelievable. SO simple but so clever and 'life-changing' in the card- making world. THANK YOU!!!!

I really like the new blending tool, I have bought other rounded sponge "daubers" and they get brittle over time. One of the tips I recently read about adding glue to small items was that if you find you need to re-glue a small piece on your project then use a scrap of torn paper to slip underneath with a bit of glue on it.

Hi Jennifer. Just love your tutorials! Can I just ask, as a real beginner who had never stamped before. Are the distress mini ink sets where you get 4x in a pack ok to start with using the mini ink blending tool or are they way too small.

I love you ideas and instructions but I'm using the same stamps/techniques you are "wonderful in every way" and for some reason my smaller words are melting together...any suggestions would be great! Thank you :)
@nicolescholet6918 жыл бұрын
Try using a fine or ultra-fine embossing powder for so it doesn't melt together, hopefully that helps :)

I LOVE these cards! I am a newbie to card making/paper crafts. A few quick questions, if you have the time to answer: 1.) Can this be done with dye or pigment ink or does it have to be distress ink? 2.) Could I first put down texture paste first over the stencil and then color? 3.) Reversely, is there a way to put down texture paste over the white part? I guess I'm asking is there a way to make a reverse of the stencil?
@jennifermcguireink9 жыл бұрын
+NYC Lee 1. any ink. 2. yes 3. not that i know of :)

+Jennifer McGuire Ink Thank you So Much for answering so quickly!! :D
@abbigeorgia8 жыл бұрын
+NYC Lee In the past I have traced all the open space in a stencil with my Versamark pen, then white heat embossed it, then used an ink over the top so the embossing resists the ink, thus getting the colour where you would usually have clear space!
@abbigeorgia8 жыл бұрын
+NYC Lee I hope that made sense!

Yes it did. Thank you SO MUCH for the instructions!! :D

Frog painters tape has a glue that is re-activated by moisture, so be sure you realize this in case you lay it down on paper, so you don't rip off the paper. Blue Tape is better in that regard.
