Күн бұрын

We’ve driven over 7500km across a 28 day period to complete a mini lap of Australia - a road trip we believe every Aussie should experience in their lifetime! We started in South East Queensland and travelled through Outback New South Wales, through Outback South Australia and the Northern Territory and travelling to Uluru and Kata Tjuta National Park! We conquered Kings Canyon, braved Alice Springs, drove the Barkley Highway, camped at a Ghost Town, found dinosaurs in Outback Queensland, soaked in the great artesian basin hot springs and so much more!
If you've every wondered, "how much does it cost to travel Australia," we have you covered!
In this episode we are sharing all the details, where we stayed, the kilometres we travelled, the total cost of fuel, our favourite experiences, the good, the bad and everything in between.
Get your hands on our new The Red Centre eBook and start planning your road trip to Uluru and Central Australia - thefeelgoodfamily.com/product...

I’ve enjoyed watching this particular journey showing people what’s possible when you have only a set number of weeks for travel. It is so much nicer being retired so that we rarely travel every day. We drag our old caravan about 400 kilometres maximum on one day, then park in a caravan park for a couple of days up to a week to explore that area whether on foot, by car or by tourist vehicle (bus, boat, train or ?). So much more relaxing for a couple of seniors. It took almost a month to get from Adelaide to Darwin for example. I’d be recommending shorter journeys if you’ve only got four weeks. Still, thanks for a terrific series.

Hello to you both we so love listening to your you tube shows. 😊 You said you have been off grid for 12 months now which kept your costs of travelling down around how much solar do you have or by what other means to you collect power.

Hi! Yea plenty, you can have dogs at Ayer’s Rock Resort RV park but can’t take into the NP. the only place we stayed that would be an issue was devils marbles but there is camping close by at Pub - just means camping outside of the NP reserve 👍🇦🇺💙🏕️

Thank you for another magical video. The Aussie govt should be using you for ambassadors, rather than lame the slogans they usually employ. Hypothetical situation though. You wake up in an alternate universe and you have a Prado instead of the 70series. So you’re limited to 3tonnes towing. On this trip, do you: a) Get a cramped off-road hybrid camper capable of free camping? Or… b) Get a full sized on-road van but limited to caravan parks?
@TheFeelGoodFamily
@TheFeelGoodFamily 10 ай бұрын
Thank you 🙏 💙🇦🇺🕺 …. After much consideration…. A. Because you you’ll spend more time out of the van than in it!! Woohoo 🙌 enjoy 😉
