Well, taking the ride downtown was certainly worth it considering I caught 3 Mini-Loud Thingies! Not to mention the loacals, and the absolute BOSS H&S Peterbilt with train horns and a NOISY jake brake! Enjoy!

15:26 now that's a real jake brake right there. I sit in the middle of a mountain near me to hear loaded dump truck jake brakes. the dump truck jake brakes sound exactly like the peterbilt's jake brake. I also get to listen to the turbo spool and screaming engine while their going up the mountain.

I thought that cattle truck would have train horns. Usually when Peterbilt 379/389s don't have stalk horns on top of the cab they've got train horns mounted underneath.

Man this was a fun video. My horn on my Freightliner is a single air horn... But it goes an effeminate 'eh' so either in emergencies or a kid under 12 like I used to do gets the horn... My other truck doesn't have one at the moment... So when kids do the arm pump I pull the string out the window and mouth sorry... Its car horn is the hi tone of a 98 mustang.

The jake brake reminds me of my D.C. field trip as we went to the Washington monument instead of it being peaceful there was a dump truck with what I think was a caterpillar shifting gears and jake braking which a heard for 2+hrs which I’m fine with but later on it went by screaming with a straight pipe so anyways good background noise lol

The issues here are trucks have city and road horns. Road horns in some city’s can get you a ticket. Same as jake brakes in some cities. Also you almost caused a wreck with that vacuum truck. Stop distracting drivers at a busy intersection

Chris Estabon - I think of it like this. The trucks don’t have to blow the horn, they can and often choose not to for those reasons. Also, it is their responsibility to keep an eye on the road. Personally, I wouldn’t take my eyes completely off the road like the Volvo Vacuum did, that was just plain dumb.
