Mini Metro is a minimalistic subway layout puzzle game. Your small city starts with only three unconnected stations. Your task is to connect them with subway lines. Everything but the line layout is handled automatically; trains run along the lines as quickly as they can, and the commuters decide which trains to board and where to make transfers.
However the city is constantly growing, along with the transport needs of its population. How long can you keep the subway system running before it grinds to a halt?

I just want to note something I think happens in Paris. Look at the description of Paris. It says smaller stations. I noticed that when my stations have 5 people waiting, it overcrowded, compared to the 6 in most cities. This means that you might need to change strategy a little bit for Paris, kind of like the 4 person carts in Cairo.

You can just drag an existing line to correct its angle, no need to recreate the portion.

nice video! thanks a lot! i think what killed you was hooking up the purple line to the interchange way too late. it had 2 unique symbols on it and the reason your interchange was overloaded was that unique passengers could only reach the purple line by using the green line. and the green line was the one that caved in in the end... :) but then again, it's much easier spotting this just watching a video and not actually having to do all the management :) hope you keep the vids coming man!

Yep, yellow uniques were going via green instead of transferring straight to purple, so green was having to convey 2 lines worth of uniques.

Also the blue wasnt hooked up to the unique tear Passenger station, so to get to that they had to go Interchange>Green>Purple>Orange insted of just Interchange>Blue

Late to the party, but in situations like 8:00 where the interchange station is the only way for other lines to connect to the star station on the blue line, I'd change the blue lines direction to be clockwise. All the stars arriving at the interchange station should not travel the whole blue line cluttering the loc along the way.

Along a similar note, its probably best to have all trains going the same direction with circular lines then there's a shorter wait time at every station instead of a long time then two trains together etc

54:13 notice how there were STARS waiting at the square station? that means you'll have to use the (olive? just the third line) to deliver the stars to the circle interchange in the center of the map so the pink line can deliver the stars

To remove an entire line, click on the corresponding coloured disc at the bottom of the screen and a 'X' will appear which can be used to clear all of that colour.

4:29 the reason the game would not give you a 90 degree angle at the triangle station north of the river is because it is north of north west from the circle the line was coming from. This means the two options are north from the circle then north west which is what the game gave you and is 45 degrees OR north west from the circle and then north which means the line does a 180 at the triangle. Anecdotally I have seen hairpins at stations MIGHT be better than 45 degrees when you have a train without carriages as the train pulls in and leaves without turning, it just reverses which end of the train is the front.

atm i'm just at around 18-19 min into the vid, but why not use your extra line (and i was thinking this when you got the 4th line too) to cover the outlying circle + some other shapes. that would shorten the Yellow's route and also provide new shortcuts that would help out in the longrun (like cutting out a bit of the blue line)

CrazyKraken on the version that’s out now (2020) there’s an “endless” mode. You never lose on that, but the restrictions still apply (lines, trains, tunnels, etc.)
