I play this game all the time and I don’t think I could handle extreme mode. It’s a completely different form of play. Props to you for doing so well in such a, well, EXTREME difficulty.

This was an "extreme mode" game. If you use circular lines there, they become completely fixed, i.e. you can't even extend them. So that's usually a bad idea.

Around 5:15 you made some good moves but much earlier in the stations' lives than the rest of your very patient approach. I wasn't sure that was necessary. Then you show ultimate patience in waiting for 9:16 's extra line for northern route. Nice work there. Love the interchange placement and usage as well. At 13:35 you rushed to add the circle then held off on the triangle connect. Nice move. At 14:59 the dilemma in line or carriage was drama filled. Which way were you going! Line it is! The tunnels at 20:59 was an interesting choice, as that late...but with two lines still coming it makes sense to have them in prep for that moment. At 27:30 watching your thinking through the purple line was an interesting follow. I like your thinking there, but would have probably gone less doubling on stations. Great save at 31:09!! The long green extension at 34:08, now that was a "game extender" attempt. Crazy. At 36:10 the crazy tail of + passengers flying off the back of the carriage near the pentagon was a first. What was that!?? At 37:23 the choice to take new tunnels instead of the last line was a shock. And that you did it so fast. No thought. Wow. Guts. Awesome game all around. Awesome. Beats your 4th all time in Mobile Extreme on Stockholm with a 3rd!

What a commentary! Very fun and interesting to read. Let me know if you want me to comment one or two of your videos, that you're happy with. It'd be fun. But I'd prefer a video that isn't sped up. Whenever I make a move earlier than needed (which happens quite a lot in this video, but luckily without any major consequences this time), it's either because I simply lack patience (bad), or because I tend to forget about unconnected stations otherwise, until it's too late to save the station in a good way (also bad). But sometimes it's also because I want to add "train delay" between two close trains on the same line. I think quite a lot about trying to maintain approximately the same distance between all trains on a line, especially when adding a train or a carriage. The save at 31:09 got a lot scarier than intended. Pretty lucky there, tbh. The long green extesion at 34:08... I regret ending the line with two circles there (it was one of those that ended the game), but I probably didn't think the game would last long enough for that to become a problem. I could also have saved it with the blue line towards the end, but that occured to me too late, and I was busy with bigger problems. The crazy tail at 36:10 is a bug that happens sometimes (only on PC?) when picking up passengers from an interchange station with lots of passengers waiting, but I've rarely seen it in extreme mode. I think it's only a visual bug, it doesn't seem to affect gameplay. I think having spare tunnels towards the end of the game usually gives you a lot more options to save stations. I've lost many times because I *didn't* pick tunnels, so I think picking tunnels is often the safer thing to do, depending on the map. So, no guts required. Picking the line just might have been better here, though. As for comparing placements between PC and Android... In my experience it's actually quite a lot harder to make the leaderboards on the PC than on Android (or iOS from what I've heard). I think it makes more sense to compare scores than placements between the platforms, tbh.

@@DaveKaufman Maybe the daily challenge scores are different *because* the seeds are different? I don't know. All I know is that I get pretty much the same scores on PC as I do on Android (on the same map), and that I've spent many, many hours getting into the PC leaderboards, whereas I've made some Android leaderboards even on my first attempt. But I do feel like the difficulty difference might be smaller for DC leaderboards than for all-time leaderboards, for some reason. I haven't played that many DC's on Android, though. And btw, in normal mode you'd definitely make top 2 or 3 every day even on PC, because nelson seems to be the only one using that "extreme" ghost line strategy there right now. Anyway... I'd honestly be happy to review one of your videos rather closely if you want, but I do think I'll wait for a slower video. It's hard to understand what's happening otherwise. At least for me. :)

@@minimetro_guth I think the daily challenge scores are different because the players on Desktop seem really good. Most of the time the top ten there is far out pacing the mobile. Likely more users and also better players. Plus possibly using a desktop offers some small help. As for Nelson and my own efforts...I've had a rough week of it. So what I have noticed is that focus is a key. I have been slightly off recently. Let's keep in touch. I will certainly keep it going on YT and reddit. You are a wealth of knowledge.

I love this game. Its so simple but still ive been playing on/off for years and years. I usually never pause the game, but if i wanna go foe max points its the only way to go. Also making a loop is not allways the best way
