Try not to use acute angles, they make your trains stop even if there is no one there.

Well, I finally got the achievement. And I didn’t even use the recommended method. Instead, I basically just cheesed the game. I used only the default three lines (red, green, and purple), I made them all intersect at one point in Manhattan, but then I just branched them all out from there: they didn’t intersect at all except for that one point in Manhattan. Then after every week, I chose either bridges, an interchange, or a carriage: I never opted for a new line, because I was never going to use one. And so instead of adding new lines to my metro, I simply added new locomotives and carriages to my existing lines in order to increase their carrying capacity. I also made sure to give all of my lines an equal number of stations, to the extent possible: at the end of the game, I had 15 stations on my red line, 14 stations on my green line, and 15 stations on my purple line. And then, this is the part where I cheesed the game: whenever a station started to fill up, I simply moved a train to it. I just moved trains around. And often times, that would literally just entail moving a train from one spot within one line, to a different spot within the *same* line! Even if said train was full, I still moved it anyway. And after I moved it, the train would just magically become empty, ready to take on 6 (or 12) new passengers. The pre-existing passengers on the train that I moved would just… disappear, or something. Or perhaps they would magically be counted toward my total, despite not actually arriving at their destinations. Whatever the in-game answer was-whatever the “lore” answer was-I found a way to cheese the game, and that’s how I got this achievement.

That all sounds like a pretty normal way to approach it. I regularly move trains like that. When you move a full train they will drop all their passengers at the next station (youll notice the train will continue on a line til it hits the next station then move, its to do this process of dropping the passengers. So as long as they are heading for an relatively empty station, its a sound strategy

+OfficialPirateFraser Cheers. Cause the game doesnt have sound, i found if i upped it there became a lot of backround fuzz. Thought it was at a decent level, but i guess not :)

Drawing Dead The game does have sound now, but I don't think it would cover the background static that you metioned, however what I would recommend is using a pair of headphones and watch a couple of video from quite big youtubers and adjust the volume on the head set so it is comfortable on all the videos, and having your audio about the same level as bigger creators videos, Also to get rid of background sound you could use free programs like audacity, there are lots of tutorials on how to do that all over youtube, anyway again good job on the video!!

I finally got this achievement (playing on Android). For me the key seemed to be having one of the tunnel lines to one of the other islands pass through a square first and then connect to the Manhattan-side junctions for the other tunnel lines. That way you're not entirely reliant on the main line to deliver all of the squares coming from the outer islands. Having the mini-line that you made do the same thing only within Manhattan is a good strategy as well but ultimately that wasn't what worked for me. Though the determining factor really might have just been getting better at micro-managing my trains. This achievement was a bitch!

This all seems very clean. When I play this level, I’ll get like 6-8 circles in a row. Been stuck on this achievement for a month now.

Dont give up hope! I guess the best advise i could give is take it real slow. Use spacebar to pause the game often. That will give you a chance to take a look at what youve got going on without a ticking clock. And dont be afraid, once you have a lot more stations on the map, to pause it and rip up all the tracks youve made and start again. Sometimes you end up with a crazy route because of the order stations showed up. So getting rid of everything and starting again is sometimes the answer. good luck :)

Attach external lines to the station immediately preceeding a square on red line

In the beginning you argued that it would make more sense to make locomotives in a loop lane go in the same direction. Later you mentioned the issue that squares being dropped of by the green line had to go around the entire loop because the square station was so far away. Why not make one locomotive go the other way around so the squares can be dropped of a lot quicker and don’t take up capacity on the train?

I dont know if it still does it, but ive found sometimes it means that the trains know there is a train going the other way. So say there are 10 squares at the green line, a train going the opposite way will just ignore them all, as opposed to lightening the load. I find it a little easier to manage if i know every train will take any passenger (even if it is less efficient).

Does it mean each square station should only have maximum of 2 lines or should all squares only be reached with 2 lines? I'm struggling because I achieved 1800 with version one but didn't receive the achievement.

What do you do with an Interchange?

An interchange makes whatever station you choose to use it on bigger. Which means it can cope with a larger amount of passengers sitting on it before it starts to fail. So its best use is if you say have only 1 square on a map and all lines going through it. so you know a lot of traffic will be dropped there.

The interchanges also make dropping off and picking up passengers go 4 times faster.
