Personally I'd much rather have a CK5 10x the profit and about 10x the cost, but they're not available right now from Goldshell. But if you have 10 miners and you have a problem with one you're only losing 10% of your mining, where as if your CK5 has a problem you're dead in the water and 10 KD Boxes use a little less power than the CK5. And the KD Box is a lot quieter only 30db compared to 80db, moreover you could have 12 KD Boxes online for the same amount of power usage. I'm starting to like the KD Box, the more I go over the numbers and crypto prices are down right now. So the profitablity of 10 KD Boxes could blow one CK5 out of the water in the near future and best of all they're available. 👍👍👍👍

Finally.....I have been dragging my feet to get the 3 that I have up and running. I tried to get them set up the other day, but DXPool would only recognize 1 of the 3. Watching your video I realized that I needed to have an individual user name for each box in order for DXPool to recognize each individual box. I finally have all 3 up and running.

I have the KD-box here and I have it set up with HotBit wallet, as they are the only ones which I found to be able to sell the Kadena for USD, they charge 20-60 per withdrawal, any other wallets that you would recommend or have lower withdrawal feels? I know CoinBase has no withdrawal fees but they don't support KDA.

@@ExtraordinaryJam get a bobcat Miner.. cheap, zero electricity almost, quiet and with the right location and set up, that thing could do 300 a month. 12-20 weeks if you buy direct, 1500 on eBay… if you have the $, then s19 and above. If you have cheap electricity.. if not host it. Keep in mind ASIC miners are loud.. like standing next to a lawnmower loud.

(Question) Vosk - thanks for the vid - just received my EVGA gold 650 PS and Mini Doge miner from Goldshell but I don't understand how to connect the power supply. Input to the Goldshell mini-DOGE is a 6 pin male and my 650 PS has multiple output connections but I don't have a 6 pin to 6 pin cable. EVGA 650 PS has output connections for 6 pin SATA, MB, 6+2 pin VGA1 and 8 pin CPU1. Not sure if I need some sort of adapter. ** Do I connect the 650 EVGA power supply 6+2 pin VGA1 output to the Mini DOGE 6-PIN power input? That's the only connection I see will work. THANKS ??

You definitely would have been better off buying KDA 4 months ago. Now, you may still be better off. The difficulty rate has gone up by a lot on the Kadena network, so this thing is getting less and less profitable every day. By the time it arrives in the mail and have it set up, you may be earning half of what you expected when you decided to buy it. A friend of mine has one of these, and it earns him around 2 KDA. He would have been better off getting a GPU for the price he paid for this miner.

Having trouble finding the answer.. so I got goldshell’s power supply unit that can power 4 KD boxes but it came with this weird plug. Am I able to just get a plug that fits the standard us plug and use that??

I had the same problem, I found an old cable to a computer with the same plug-in to the power supply and it works fine. As long as it is within the acceptable range for the power supply input rating. something like 10 AMPs and 125 Volts
