hi michael from southern Ireland here now ive nothing against pakistan or its people in fact ive great respect for them im a brummie who knew Alum Rock in the 1970s both sides of the street were english shops like woolworths Tescos butcher shops cheese shop diy shops pubs etc look at it now all changed yes its propably look like a town in pakistan alright mom and dad came to brum in the 60s alum rock had irish west indian english etc communitys what happened yes i remember pakistani families were moving in to streets ofdf alum rock but the whole area is completly taken over when did this happen?
