Mini Poodle full dog groom, fidgety with front legs, #5 blade, dog grooming without restraints

This video shows me grooming a Miniature Poodle dog breed. I used a #5 blade and scissors to complete this groom.

Each video is unedited footage of a day to day home based dog grooming business.
Being a dog groomer for 17+ years, I have seen a lot of dogs and learned a variety of techniques of how to groom any dog WITHOUT restraints!
These videos are for people interested in grooming their own dogs from home, wanting to learn how to start their own dog grooming business, owners who are looking for solutions on various health issues with their dog and of course most importantly for my dog owners to see how their dog does while being groomed.
In addition to grooming techniques, I will be posting videos of health concerns or warning signs of possible health concerns to watch out for with any solutions I have learnt over the years.
I also plan to share unique characteristics that I come across while grooming as some are pretty unique and very interesting!
I am always interested in making any videos that people would like to see, so please feel free to send me suggestions and I'd be happy to post a video when I am able to do so.

Buddy has such a sweet lovable face and kind eyes !!! I wonder why most dogs seem to tolerate grooming on their hind legs better than on the front legs??? Cooper did the same thing when I groomed him! I had a hard time doing the front legs! All in all, excellent groom Lisa! The scissor work on top of the head is amazing! I wish I could do that with Cooper's topknot but I'm not there yet! I have tried to blend in a little with thinning shears but I ended up having to clip shorter than I would have liked! Buddy was a good boy and looked fantastic in the end!

Thanks, Christine! Yes, it takes a bit of practice to get the layering, but it will come! I'm not quite sure why the front legs are a bit more difficult, but it seems pretty universal. Lol

Lol. It is quite common for a dig to be so well behaved....that is until I get to the feet! Yes, it will be nice to find out the answer to this mystery! 😊
