Well it's fun to take it apart and put it together again. It's neat to see all the little pieces. It would be pretty boring to just sit and stare at a solid chunk of plastic. Some people think it's strange, but I've always loved little mini things and they're really fun to play with every once in a while. It's not any weirder than stamp collecting in my opinion.
