The MINI Roadster is the first two-seater convertible MINI has ever produced, and is designed to compete with the Mazda MX-5 and Audi TT Roadster. The fabric roof folds away in just 10 seconds and the boot is a useful 240 litres, whether the roof is up or down. Only Cooper models are available, including one diesel, the Cooper SD, with either a six-speed manual or a six-speed automatic gearbox.

I loved this review. I want this car, particularly because I have shitty friends who can't take care of their cars so they break down and ask me for rides. Now I'd have an excuse to say "sorry, no room, just me an my dog in the front seat."

I have a 2012 Coupe S and I love the car, plan on buying a Roadster JCW next and have the pair... I also think they will become collectibles in the future within the MINI community. There's still plenty out there for sale, get you a nice one before things change.

It's funny, more people would likely think the MX5 Miata was more of a "girly" car, even though it's one of the best drivers cars.. Of coarse, if you're secure enough, none of that will matter. And that's why I tremendously enjoy my MX-5!!!

It's inconvenient to lock secure your convertible top doing 20 per hour? I'm amaze it even lets you put the top down or up while the car is in motion. That's accident waiting to happen.
