This is what makes KZbin fun. Free plans like days of old. A nicely done project an video. Everyone wants to sell something an has to me ruined KZbin. It was really fun years ago until most all have tried to be a business with it.

I've had the chance to use this table a couple of times now. It's fun to whip out in front of people:) I can see what people are talking about when they say the legs are delicate, but they're design to support a "mostly" vertical load, not be torqued from the side or pushed back into place. If you just let the table open or close on it's own and don't force anything, it works great kzbin.infoUgkxyFZUPFEey-PuqsPMxqaykBhgA1LWxFHh Once it's set up, it's pretty solid. My only gripe would probably be related to the clamps provided. They're not the highest quality. They do the job, so no big deal, but they could be better. All in all, pretty cool gadget.

As always, reading the comments is a mixed bag. All i know is, this is my third Patrick Sullivan video, and i'm hooked. I've built my brother a new router table that i've designed with the help of other you tubers, and i'm scrapping the whole thing after seeing this. I just downloaded the plans, and hope i can get it to him by christmas. I'm slammed with building a large (10' x14.8') cabinet, but will whittle away at this most cleverly designed, and versatile little table that will be perfect for bro's two car garage shop that he still manages to keep two cars in. Anyone that can't see the awesomeness of this table over a store bought one either doesn't do any actual work with these types of tools, or is simply trolling. Patrick, if you read this, sincere thanks for giving back to a trade that must of given you something wonderful to allow you the joy of sharing all of this to all of us. It is appreciated believe me!

I love doing personal projects and time has no bearing to me. I sometimes have a long term project that I might work on 30 minutes a day or a week. No different then any hobby/job I usually learn things that I apply to other work. If you don’t use your creative mind you no longer become creative. Love this small router build myself. I have a large table and I like to leave it set up for everyday jobs. The small table is ideal for small one off projects and not changing out my large table. Most people use several routers each having different bits. I believe I have at least 5 plus a small battery DeWalt hand router. Keep up the great projects and ignore the haters. I’m 76 years old and learn new things daily. I have seen many wow ideas to use even from projects I will never build but it they can apply to other projects. Excellent work

This is a cracking video and a great router table. Years ago I made several monster floor standing router tables and they were all good - I still use one today. But a small table like this has a million uses, that the larger tables can't do - you can't put them in the boot and take them to your friends house to help out on a project for instance. Great video, thanks for making it!

Hi Patrick, I'm new to wood working, and just finished building this router table. The video and plans made it simple. Thanks for sharing. I added a taller fence that could be removed from the original fence with dust collection coming from the top back of the fence. Plus made a 2' x 3' table the same height as the router table with a cutout in the middle for your router table to snap in, helps with big jobs. I leaned a lot from following your design.

Thank you so much for your effort, Patrick. I have subscribed to your channel. Very interesting videos, and professional working practices, unlike some other KZbinrs, who often seem quite amateurish. I also MUCH appreciate that you're sharing your plans, for FREE to boot! Again, all credibility to you. Many charge for this; yet yours are free, very detailed, professional, and truly well thought out and designed. Your positive attitude to making stuff oneself, instead of buying things, is also refreshing. It's building my confidence to know that one can do a LOT oneself. You, together with Ron Paulk, and Brit Workshop with Peter Parfitt are my go-to channels. Many thanks, and long may you continue!

Congrats and thanks! This is by far far far away the best diy project for wood working tools. The steady hand in that little saw is like Schumacher of woods cutting, the wrench slot with the magnet, the surprise bits holder and finally finally someone use the cam nut from bikes quick release (so natural :) I already had that idea watching others blunders). Great to offer plans for free, others ask money for very basic designs.

Greetings Patrick. After being away from woodworking for moren then 10 years, I picked it up again and bought a DeWalt router. Then found your desing on youtube. I build it and and although I made some minor mistakes I did manage to build a correctly functioning one. I must say I am very pleased with it as I already had employ for it. Thank you for the design! (although it is not as easy in metric as you might think :-) ) Also it would be adviced to prep each side as much as possible including using the roundover bit to make the edges easrier on the hands when lifting and using the table. Thank you again, very happy with it.

This video was incredible. I love how great the video/audio production is. The project is awesome...I have to make one of these. As a side note, I loved how it made me feel like my Grandpa was teaching me another thing to learn. Its fairly easy to find a helpful youtube video....much harder to find one that genuinely makes you happy.
