All transparent/translucent/clear chassis are softer than the regular colored ones.even with the same material ABS plastic,the clear/transparent are usually thinner so its lighter but brittle or softer on an impact,that tends to crack or break very easily.

You can swap both dcr-01 with dcr-02 body.their attachment are the same.

Most competitive, MS. I'm not sure what you mean by Best Tamiya Design? Are you asking body design? That's more of a preference. I like the Gun Bluster body.
