I love this! Smart trick with the hole reinforcer. I punched tha circle then tried to punch a small hole in the center. So hard to center! Your method is far superior. ❤️ Shirley

Delightful floral digital kits. A lot of hard work--coming up with different ideas and then actually creating. Such careful attention to detail, like the neat stitching, for example.

What a FABULOUS way to start my day ... you've done it again! ABSOLUTELY GORGEOUS. These papers are just perfect for this project - another trip to Chapter One for me this morning by the look of it. BEAUTIFULLY made as always ... you've inspired me yet once again - my 'arms' are getting longer and longer each time I watch one of your videos! LOL. TFS, Leanne.

Hi Carol, what a gorgeous little book you have created with all those beautiful papers, they are very soft and pretty. I love the way you decorate with a little lace here and there it's stunning. I learnt how to make folding cards back in Girl Guides (just a few years ago) haha, boy did we have glue everywhere then we used old Christmas cards, it's funny how we forget about some things. Suzy has bought it all back to us with her lovely ideas too. Thank you for sharing and take care, Jodie xx

Hi Jodie, don't know what you mean about having glue everywhere when you were back in GG last year (!!!!)... I get it everywhere even now. Yes, Suzy is really inspirational... I simply adore the work she does. It's just amazing. So thrilled she inspired me to give these tag books ago. Hugs C xx

I watched this again, and I love your idea of using the large pocket to store the kit's ephemera - just brilliant. I don't think I've ever seen such a large pocket to print up, it's quite handy. Of course after watching the first time, I HAD to order that gorgeous kit; it's so beautiful. The hidden pocket on the front is PERFECTLY matched! Your hole reinforcers are beautiful, I never would have thought of using papers from the kit to make these with. Thanks for showing how the back page pocket works, I couldn't figure it out because a large part of the design is on the part you glue into project! Your tags look quite sturdy - what weight paper do you use to make them? I look forward to seeing what else you create with this kit as I too love the gentle pink feminine look of these gorgeous pages.💕

Thanks Carol. Have to say I like using 3 tapes per page much better. I used that in my grungy tag books and they felt much firmer. Hugs C.xx

I will try, Lucie. it really is so simple. 6 tags and some lace to bind the tags together. I used 3 to each tag in the grungy tag books I've just made and that worked a lot better, much firmer. C.xx

Hi Kay, thank you so much for your lovely comment. It really is the paper collection that makes this wee tag book. I can do a quick tutorial on the binding if that helps at all, but I have to say that I'm finding the tag book is firmer with 3 pieces of tap on each page rather than the binding I used for this tag book. I've done that on my latest grungy tag books and I'm far happier with how they feel. C.xx

That's a cute little tag journal that you can put tiny photos on it also but I was wondering how is it holding out together in the middle if you use ribbon did you use something else I'm not talking about the tie that you tie around it but what holds all the pages to get it cuz you didn't show that part
@oakhousejournals2 жыл бұрын
Hi Cynthia, I really can't remember now what the binding fabric was and I can't take a look as it was sold a good while ago now. Having rewatched the video I can see that I've used lace but I won't have used that on it's own because you're absolutely right, it wouldn't be strong enough. I believe I used a simple cream cotton tape or perhaps some thin cotton fabric strips. I'll have glued them on first and then added the lace on top of that for decoration. Sorry I can't be more specific. Hugs C xx
@oakhousejournals2 жыл бұрын
Cynthia, the more I think about this the more I am sure that I used torn strips of a thin cotton fabric and then the lace over the top. That cream tape I mentioned wouldn't have been my first choice with this little tag book as it needed something delicate but sturdy. That cream tape would have been too bulky for my liking... so cotton fabric it was. I got there in the end....lol. Hugs C xx
