I think electronic parking break is not so necessary . Instead manual handbrake is best as no electrical issue in future and no maintenance and in case of break failure it could be used as secondary option .

The car is absolutely lovely, only a few niggles such as dashboard squeaking/door rattling, brake noise, etc ruin the experience. Best car in terms of driving dynamics and performance. It would be better if they offer 1.5 with TC instead of DSG because it is more prone to failures

@@shobhitsaini86 Wait for sometime, Even I've completed 6 months on my GT recently and I've started rattling noises sometimes (not always but yeah) which comes randomly and disappears after sometime. Brake noise issue literally started 3months after I got the car. It depends on your luck, not all slavia/virtus has these issues.

Automatic has slightly lower mileage and also for every 4 years in 1.0 tsi u have to change transmission fluid worth 8000/-.....for manual the gears are slightly notchy not crispy like maruti cars.

I would suggest go for the manual and not the DSG gearbox, DSG has more chances of failures especially the DQ200 model which is offered in this car. So even if you get the GT now, go for the manual only.

@@vivansayshi The automatic in the 1.0TSI engine is reliable as it is Torque Converter, I have the 1.5 GT DSG, Got the extended warranty of 6 years, if you have money in your pocket you can go for the DSG variant along with the extended warranty just so that youre on the safer side, DSG failure can cost you easily more than 2 - 3 Lakhs. Also, Do note that 1.0L variant has issues such as poor AC performance which isn't present in the 1.5 GT variant. (Not all 1.0L Cars have it but if you find a car which doesn't, consider yourself lucky). Common issues in both 1.5 and 1.0L variants are brake noise, dashboard squeaking noise in intense heat or occasional door rattling noises. These small niggles shouldn't be a problem if you don't mind them much, The car overall is a beauty to drive for sure.
