MINI TRUCK MADNESS! Headlights out of Dog Bowls! EP12 $2k Bedford / Holden Budget Build.

In this episode 12 in the HotWheels legends tour under $2000 budget Bedford / Holden Truck build we listen to you the viewer and rework the rear lights by Frenching them into the tailboard, our attention turns to the motor where we clean, paint and install some more of the bolt on parts but run into an issue when we start work on the exhaust system. A Gilmer belt drive is purchased and installed. The king of repurposing comes in for a visit as we then turn our attention to the Headlights and make the headlight dress rings out of stainless dog bowls. New mirrors are purchased and installed, and we show off a future project that may have something to do with this Hotwheels Legends Tour Build and it may be the piece that makes the build a contender in the contest.. #hotwheelslegends #ratrod #hotwheelslegendstour

Those dog bowls worked out great. I always like how working on a tight budget forces one to think outside the box and be creative. Stubby Bed the body building elf looks awesome. The bike addition will be a neat touch. Stubby Ben the the Crouching Kowie.

headlights turned out cool, how you come up with these ideas amazes me...... dog bowls lol. love the mirrors think they suit perfectly. taillights look much better, i think the cafe racer will be a great idea make it match it will look like a patina race team. with the battery you could mount under the tray and use jump points like they have under the bonnet of modern cars when the battery is in the trunk.👍👍👍👍

I like it! If you do fix the bike to look like the truck and have it on the bed, I think the the battery boxes on each side and split to where the bike front wheel goes, it will look great.

I notice at the car shows over here, in the USA, some guys are putting bikes in the back of trucks as an added accessory, like you mentioned. A bike that matched would give it that little extra touch, if you got the time and money, oh and if you like bikes.

Looking good man. I run a Gilmore belt drive on my chopped 27 ford coupe and I love it. Usually the Gilmore is natural aluminum not chrome so should look great on your truck. I had to order a couple different length belts to make mine work but that’s the usual with customs

Yep go wih the bike idea with the patina to match , its a 4 stroke air cooled 250, will look awesome painted to match , maybe evn do theside covers in wood to match the bed of the truck 👍

Think I'd paint motorbike tank gold same as engine with strip. Not same as truck. Probably a rite Rocket if two stroke. Rear lights look finished off good. Front lights look great. Good idea. You need stainless rods connected to hold bike in uprite position and straps around bottom of wheels. All looking great. Thanks for video. Have a good week. 👍 Check out Paul Bacons motorbike Truck.
