Around 10-12+ years ago when I still had my first MINI, MINI Cooper reached out to me to see if I was interested in an Electric MINI. I was! But, I was commuting 110 miles round trip a day and with a range of 120 miles I thought it would be cutting it too close. Plus purchase price was almost 50% higher then the gas MINI. So I passed. In hindsight it was a good thing: considering most of my commute was highway and without the regenerative breaking the mileage would have been less, I probably wouldn't have made it home each day. Still interested, as the range increases and eventually the prices should fall, I do see an EV in my future.
