Very peaceful video. Born and raised in a small town, Bardstown, Ky. Still here, never left and would be miserable in a big city.

I was born and raised in Los Angeles (population around 5,000,000) and then spent over 40 years living in London (population around 16,000,000). I've also lived in New York and Orlando and Dubai. I'm a city boy through and through. They say you can take the boy out of the city but you cant take the city out of the boy, and yet Bartow looks exactly like the kind of place I'd like to live.

I stopped in Barstow & went to the courthouse museum recently. The town felt misplaced & disjointed. I didn't get a clear idea what it has going for it.

@@sunshineproductions4122 Tons of history. It also depends on what day and time of day you visit to get a real feel for the town. Bartow is the county seat and doubles in population on week days due to all of the government work. You get a mixed bag of people during this period. Most weekends, Main St. where this was filmed is booming with activity and locals. It's not what it used to be personality wise due to all of the newcomers to the area, but what town is these days in FL.

Really peaceful town. Almost seems like a movie studio. I wish the town and neighbourhood i grew up in was like this (Bairro alto in Lisbon, Portugal). Luckely i now live in a much peaceful and quieter place.

Stop falling for the media hype. The average coastal town encounters a direct hit every 100 years. Also, Bartow is inland.
