As a teenager in the 1960's, I'd stay up late at night, searching for distance AM stations! One night I listened to some unknown Southern Preacher give a full hour Sermon on "Satan and his Demons"! And it was soo very scary, I couldn't sleep for a week!!!

I bought an EP Pro this past July. No problem with the 'popping' noise. A slow scan DSP DX monster rivaling my GE Superadio III. I also just ordered a CCrane Solar Observer after reading many reviews. This has the weather band, which will be a better emergency radio than my Tecsun GR 88 which has shortwave.

I love c crane radios! The 2E would be the one for AM. But the shipping cost, plus import kills any hope of that at present.

Noticed a more recent video where you have a C Crane EP-Pro. What one do you prefer? The CE-Pro or the Radio 2E?

Why is it of lower sound in many stations?

Have you any issues with popping noises on weak signals? There are many complaints about this issue and a few YT videos showing the problem. I'm in the UK and very nearly imported one but given I'd be using it for DXing weak signals I decided against it. Went for the Sangean PR-D5 instead.

You won’t regret your purchase. These are fine quality radios! I have an old C Crane plus Which still works and sound quality is wonderful. Just received my C Crane 2e pro. Love it😁
