I think Dumplin might have a tummy ache. Multiple clues. 1. When Dumplin gets settled in the water it looks like Dumplin may have gas bloat. See how the sides of his abdomen widen when floating in water? 2. Eating the grass growing in the sand near the water. Is he really hungry? Or eating the grass like a dog does when they have a tummy ache? 3. The cough could be acid reflux from a slight obstruction. 4. Gulping water. Not just licking. --> Tummy ache. 5. The way Milkshake makes those specific sounds doting around Dumplin’s body. As a mother and a nurse, my gut (No pun intended) tells me Tummy ache and the duck knows it. Neither one of them speak English so can’t tell the owner. But I think Milkshake knows what’s going on. Of coarse I could be wrong!

You have very good points. I saw comments that the water in the pond may be dyed. I think it's harmful if it's dyed and Dumpling is drinking it..

Water pressing on the abdomen and lungs could have made for the cough. There were no issues prior to entering the pond. Either way, these two are a sight to behold ❤
