I have ridden the Bay Beach train many times. So did my parents and Grandparents. A wonderful train. Now they have replaced it with the newer style. But they kept the old one and now operate both. They put a “flame job” on the old one looks goofy but Its not Canadian National. In this video they show it painted for Wisconsin Central. I have seen on Film it was once painted for Chicago Northwestern.

THE FAIRYLAND PARK ON 75 TH STREET IN KANSAS CITY MISSOURI HAD AN ALCO FA MINIATURE LOCOMOTIVE , BUILT BY A.B. CHANCE COMPANY IN WICHITA. A RETIRED UNION PACIFIC LOCOMOTIVE ENGINEER IN BASEOR KANSAS AQUIRED IT AFTER THE PARK CLOSED IN 1977. HE HAS SPENT THE LAST SEVERAL YEARS RESTORING AND IMPROVING THIS LOCOMOTIVE! HE REMOVED THE ORIGINAL FORD FLATHEAD 4 CYLINDER ENGINE AND REPOWERED IT WITH AN BUICK V-6 ENGINE AND AUTOMATIC TRANSMISSION! IT SHOULD BE NEARLY FINISHED BY NOW, AND HE WAS ALSO LOOKING FOR MORE TRACK!! KEEP THEM ROLLING BROTHERS!! 👍👍
