I've heard tell of sculptors mixing small amounts of polymer clay with epoxy putties such as Green Stuff to extend working time or to modify other properties of the epoxy putty. Do you have an opinion on this you could share?

So here's a question: I have a set of the "D&D Collector's Series Adult Red Dragon" assembled but it's missing its wings. I do have greenstuff and Vallejo liquid putty in the tube (the one with the fine tip applying nozzle) but the gaps on where the wings should go are rather large. What putty would be best to fill those the best way with the least amount of shrinkage?

For large gaps I’d suggest milliput. If it’s really big you might need to put in one stage of filling let that dry, then a second layer where you fill and smooth the edges. Millilput can also be smoothed with a brush and water as a final stage.

@@blackscorpionminiatures Thanks mate. It's not a gap between two parts but more a "big cut" in one resin part. 1.5mm deep and 1-2mm wide. A slot for the missing wings. I'll think I'll go with miliput and let it dry a few days before painting and priming.
