So, I finally got it right. Just one small detail: The music widget is not linked to any app. How do you link it? So play actually opens music, podcasts or whatever.

Downloaded file, extracted files just fine, wallpaper and backup works great. The kwgt files will not import. It just says "unable to write target file"

You have to give it storage permission , ie you should have a space named "kustom" in your storage alloted to the app IF it not work try adding widget directly in the widget section in kustom folder so available there

Just open app manager in settings > kwgt > app info > three dots > allow the permission ⚠️ be sure you downloaded the app from trusted source and it not have any malware of something before allowing the permission .
