Great video! You have a natural ability to explain things simply and I appreciate that so much! I just graduated speech & hearing therapy and started working with cochlear implant patients and this video was very much needed! Keep going because you're helping parents, students and therapists. Warm greetings from Croatia, Europe :)

My 3 year old granddaughter has been diagnosed with Initial Consonant Deletion. They have suggested that we work with her on Minimal Pairs. Is the method that you are using appropriate for her at this time. Thank you so much!

I'm speech therapist. I have a client who has a lot of errors and has phonological disorder. Sh can produce f sound but only in initial position ,produces f and for others she produces s instead of f. Can I use minimal pair approach for her? Thanks for your guidance.

In the beginning of your video you have mentioned that this approach cannot be used for children with articulation errors and phonological errors then for which errors to use this ?
@fatimabalhas40533 жыл бұрын
i think she meant it cannot be used with patients who have severe processes that make speech unintelligible

What if they are not stimulable for /k/ and /g/? do you still use it?
@SpeechTherapyEducation3 жыл бұрын
If they are not stimulable for /k/ or /g/, then you might have to do direct teaching of of the sound first :) Which is more of an articulation based approach.
