How to fix some common issues Default overlay still showing: in Afterburner (not Rivatuner) go to the monitoring tab, for each of the options showing in the default overlay, turn off "Show in On-Screen Display". If FPS isn’t updating( I.e. stuck at “62 fps”): Create a new layer and manually type %Framerate% A second FPS counter is showing in the overlay: Make sure to turn off “Show own statistics” in Rivatuner If the “More” button is greyed out: Click the up arrow in your windows taskbar to see if RivaTuner has launched. If its not, then you may need to manually launch it in windows.

very thankful for ur video, sadly i have some questionmarks: when i uncheck the opions in afterburner "show in on-screen display" nothing will show ingame when i toggle on/off, because i have also the thing that the default overlay is showing besides the pill shaped one.

@@TheSeanMacGuireNvm, I just fixed it. U need to click the ticks besides the overlay.dll and the hotkeys.dll in riva tuner/setup/plug-ins. They were light grey like the unchecked ticks in msi afterburner. After that it worked for me without having opened the editing space of the overlay.

Open the background box layer, open the color picker to the right of the "use custom background color" checkbox. There is an opacity slider in that dialogue. For the circle image (or any image that you import) you will have to add the transparency in your photo editing app.

If you can't get rid of the default graphs: In Afterburner. Open Settings -> Monitoring -> Disable "Show in On-Screen Display" for all options.

For those not seeing the imported layout try to full screen the Overlay Editor. I found mine on a little bit outside of the screen.

Good job! To simplify the process of creating similar overlay layouts with OverlayEditor I'll slightly modify hypertext tag format (solid filled ar rendering) to allow you to embed bars with rounded corners directly and much easier than before. So you won't need to implement such rounded background with embedding additional ball sprites.

No he didn't, First there is no explanation on how to get any overlay to show up in the game itself and second you cannot install the font because not only can't you download the font the way he shows, but it's also not an install it's a zip file that has nothing but .ttf files which you cannot do anything with. This is far from instructions.

Thanks, took a little work getting it up and running for me, I had some old version that was running the default once in the background while I was trying to configure it the way you described it, but I reinstalled everything and it worked.

This isn't followable because first he doesn't explain how to get the overlay to even show up in the game, and second the font he downloads is a lie, it took me forever to figure out how to download the font because it's not anywhere close to what he shows in the video, and more important there is no install you download a zip file that contains nothing but .ttf files which have no use.

And the end result doesn't work because there are several problems 1. There are no instructions on how to get the overlay to show up in the game 2. The font download doesn't exist the way he shows (Took me forever to figure out how to download it) 3. When you do manage to figure out how to download the font, you wind up with a zip file that contains nothing but .ttf files which have no use. Can't put up a video like this and skip tons of important things.

In the monitoring tab click on the options in graph i.e GPU Temp and on the right side it would be showing in OSD, Click on that particular item and uncheck Show in On-Screen Display from below for that particular option , I hope it solves your problem.

Thanks man! Looks clean. Just so you are aware I tried using your template but you left the GPU name to GPU1 so it wasn't displaying correctly. It was an easy fix. I just renamed it to GPU2 and it displayed correctly.

If you can't get the overlay to display with the editor closed: make sure to double click the checkmark for the overlay editor so that its highlighted and active. Or else it won't display in game without the editor open.
