I love Finnish tableware! The quality is great and the design beautiful. I have items from Iittala, Marimekko, Pentik and some cheaper Finnish brands in my kitchen and all resist quite well the test of time (I use them regularly). 👏🏼 I wish they would produce more in Finland though. In the past they used to, but now some companies moved their production to Asia. Regarding the Finnish kitchens and the furniture in the house: they all look the same (or very similar) and they lack personality, in my opinion. I’ve been in many homes in Finland and I’ve got this feeling… It can be minimalist and functional, but it doesn’t have to be the same. The problem is you don’t have much of a choice in the shops in Finland. Anyway…that’s my opinion and what matters is that everyone is happy with the place they live in. 🙂
