E.L.F is a great cruelty-free makeup brand! Burts bees is great for lip products. They are similar to ChapStick, just natural!

Yes, I love some of the ELF products! My blush and brow pencil are both ELF but they didn't have a good eyeliner or mascara option for me. I won't use burt's bees because I'm trying to use vegan as well as cruelty free products :D

I love the Pacifica Dream Big mascara. It's expensive, but soo worth it! It has a little knob on the top of the mascara brush that you can turn to change the brush bristles.

Ulta cosmetics is cruelty free (to the best if my knowledge), but the store it self sells non-cruelty free cosmetics. Also, essence cosmetics has a great red matte lipsticks thats cruelty free called "MATT 06" and a beautiful matte purple called "MATT 07". And I know you're saying you don't want to support companies that have non-cruelty free parent companies, but I personally feel if you are only buying the cruelty free brands, that hopefully the parent companies will get the hint. (I know it's a long shot, but a girl can hope. right?) Anyway, sorry for the long comment, loved the video!

Totally! I'll have to consider that because I buy the vegan icecream from Ben and Jerrys even though they sell dairy icecream. That comes from not having any other vegan icecream options at the store and exactly what you're saying- hoping that if enough people support the line, they'll put more of their efforts into their vegan options and less into their dairy/non-vegan options.

I love Elf! Ciate London has a great mascara and it’s their Lash Locked Mascara! I’m a vegetarian, too! The makeup I have are mostly cruelty free, however, I have 2 products that are from brands that are not cruelty free and they are Benefit Dallas Bronzer and NARS Lip Crayon in Cruella. NARS announced that they are no longer cruelty free and it made me sad. I also have products that are from brands that are cruelty free but their parent company is not, but I still buy from them, because of their cruelty free statuses. Great job on this video!:)

Thanks Jeni! I usually don't like ELF products because they aren't full or long lasting coverage. But they do have a bronzer I use and adore! Which of their products do you love? Also, your not the first person to suggest Lash Locked Mascara, I'll have to try that sometime!

Hi! It is great that you are cruelty-free now! I have been cruelty-free for 2 years and use brands like Alverde, Lavera, Sante... I don't know if Alverde is available in the US(i assume you're from the US but I could be totally wrong lol) bc it is European brand, but it is even sold on eBay and has amazing inexpensive all natural cruelty-free makeup and skin care, so check it out! :) My fave mascara from Alverde is called "nothing but volume" and its literally like 3 euros and very nice quality:)

Alverde is a green brand from a German drugstore chain called DM, so probably you can only buy their products off Amazon or Ebay

subahe71 Alverde uses natural ingredients but I heard they test on animals, also Balea is not cruelty free. DM always states that they are but Nivea makes Balea products and they do test. :-/

I did not know that, it's a good thing since I do not have access to Alverde in Spain, so I am slowly replacing products in my collection with other products from Avril, Lavera and Benecos

I know this video is a bit old but I will suggest that you check out LogicalHarmony.net. It is the best resource for finding which companies are CF or not and the research is very thorough. You can not always trust what a company says (L'Oreal says they are CF but we all know that's not true). LH also has lists of vegan products from certain CF brands which is super helpful. Great job for going cruelty free!
