This is SO helpful. I'm recovering from years of severe chronic illness and during that time lost all sense of structure or routine. I was just trying to survive each day. Now that I have a little more energy and functionality I'm struggling how to manage it. Also discovered that ADHD, which was my superpower before I got sick and enabled me to do be highly active and juggle multi-tasking madness, has become a real problem, Now that I'm building a new slower paced and calmer lifestyle my unfocus/hyperfocus is making things *really* difficult, even the simplest things, so what you're showing here is incredibly helpful. I need to see the baby steps and that it's ok to chunk things down into the most basic tasks to create order and accomplish anything.

Thank you for sharing. I learned about small steps. I have to add things to something I am already doing, aka a trigger. For me it helps me remember. So, after breakfast I do a meditation, then shoes on and out the door. On the way out the door for my walk, I put the laundry in the dryer (it's old and it really only fluffs), when I get home I hang them up to finish drying then on my way to the back to put away yesterdays laundry and get dressed for the day. Each one was built on the other. Things have to flow for me or something that feels like a speed bump won't get done. PS PLEASE be careful with the diffuser and your sweet kitty. Their livers can't process the concentrated form of that. I lost a Boxer dog due to his fascination with peppermint - I didn't know 😞

Antonia! Thanks a lot for the pieces of advice in this video :D , especially the Routinery app. It saved a lot of my mental power in the morning by not making me in sleepy mode having to think every step and take care of the timing doing the daily tasks. For the first time I could arrive at work the whole week at the time I intended too :)

Matheus! That might just be one of the coolest comments I've received 😁 I'm super proud of you for taking care of yourself AND going to work on time. If you keep it easy and simple, this could absolutely become the norm for you. And Routinery is amazing, right?! Somehow it seems trivial to use an app like this, but it has made a difference for me like NOTHING ELSE. True story. Stay awesome! 💖

First: cold shower, three minutes water falling on my head. Or second, if I do some yoga exercises, sun salutations at least. Cold shower gives me dopamine for two hours, without meds. After those two hours, I take my medication. As soon as possible, light exposition, ten minutes at least, artificial or natural. Sunlight is the best to switch on my nervous system. Coffee, not before ninety minutes after wake up. So I avoid feeling sleepy in the middle of the morning. And twenty minutes of Non Sleep Deep Rest when I feel overwhelmed and dried, but this is not always possible 😢...

Are you using an app for the timers?

Hi Antonia, Thank you for sharing this very helpful and informative video! I’m currently juggling a full-time job, moving overseas to France, and starting a KZbin channel about life between the US and France. It’s quite a lot, and so having a clear routine like this is essential to remain productive and in a good headspace. 🙏 What a great idea to have an app help you walk through each habit stepwise. Also, I think that people really underestimate the importance of water. A tip that I recently learned from my doctor-mineral water with a very high mineral content (like Gerolsteiner) can do wonders to keep you feeling energetic and hydrated throughout the day. It’s expensive here in the US, but it’s worth it! PS-Your kimono is so cute! Finally, thank you for pointing out that the “morning” routine doesn’t have to be completed as soon as we jump out of bed. It makes a lot of sense that we perform these habits as we have time for them, instead of forcing them to happen in the morning and stressing ourselves out. Thank you as always for your helpful videos 🥰 Subscribed and I can’t wait for the next one!

Hey there! ❤️ I'm really proud of you for working on all of these things and I'm rooting for you to feel accomplished and successful in everything that you desire! Absolutely, in Bulgaria people drink a lot of mineral water, in Germany more carbonated normal water. Personally, I drink from the tap, but I agree that drinking mineral water tasted much better and it also has really important properties to it! THank you for all of your kind words and I absolutely wish you an amazing year ❤️
