Denise Pfahl she is in her 40s right? But why would you have fillers? I think the only thing I am considering is laser for my rosacea at some point and maybe if my eye lids become droopy at some point then eye lid lift 😁 But I am 40 now and my Idol is Julianne Moore who has been against the fillers and she looks stunning 😍

Audrey, you can diminish the puffiness of your hood if you use a light soft brown shade and blend it into the crease but go up a bit more to give yourself the illusion of a crease. People like us with no crease need to create one. When you do that, the puffiness recedes but looks natural. Please try this, I think you'll be pleased. When we put shadow on like most others do, it disappears because we don't have a large lid area. When you bring that shadow up, it makes our small eyes not only look bigger but more open. What you are doing is making a shadow and adding depth where we have flatness.Try it.

Your make-up looks great. I'm like you in that I definitely prefer a more natural look. What tends to happen with me though is that my make-up fades seems to fade off within a couple of hours at most. I use quality products too so I'm not sure why this always happens but within a few hours, it looks as if I've never even applied any make-up at all. Do you have any tips to keep make-up on and in place as this is my biggest bugbear? Thanks so much, Audrey.
@fiveandfour4 жыл бұрын
A tip that Wayne Goss posted a few years back is to dust your face with finely milled finishing powder BEFORE you apply foundation, then proceed with the rest of your routine. I have oily skin and that trick works for me most of the time. You might also need to play with different foundations to get one that lasts longer. It’s hard finding a balance for a foundation that stays in place yet doesn’t feel like it’s choking the life out of your skin - hence the heartfelt cries of agony when brands re-formulate or discontinue a foundation that worked LOL. Good luck!
@fiveandfour4 жыл бұрын
Oh! Also! You might also want to experiment with primers. They really do work, but it’s just about as hard finding a primer that works as it is to find a foundation so I’d start with the Wayne Goss tip first since that’s such a simple thing to do.
@AudreyCoyne4 жыл бұрын
Hi! Thank you so much ❤️ I definitely recommend primer to keep everything in place. The only one I’ve found that actually keeps my makeup on longer and doesn’t cause irritation etc is hourglass veil mineral primer ❤️ I also second the tips below! Hi! How exciting! I recommend light layers (thermal ts and leggings), a sweater or two that can be worn along or layered under a shirt, blouse or t, a few cute tops, black or dark pants, black or dark skirt, tights if you bring a skirt because it’s still really cold in feb, dark jeans and a warm dark coat and an umbrella. For shoes, ankle boots or tall boots are perfect. Just make sure they’re super comfortable and you can walk long distances in them ❤️

I think that one of the key takeaways I noticed in this video is that, if you work WITH your natural looks rather than AGAINST them, it will be easier to have a look that lasts all day! You mentioned minimal makeup (and pragmatic stuff that cares for your face, rather than just covering it!!) and also working with your natural curly/wavy hair, you are just enhancing your existing features! I love it! So wise and practical!

the Daily Connoisseur FYI NARS tests their products on animals. With so many other brands of primers out there I would reconsider supporting that brand. I’m not a hippy and I also eat meat, but testing cosmetics on animals is where I draw the line.
