you do not have fear at a young age... HOWEVER, you gain your parents fear in most cases. What i mean by this is... you can see kids falling or wiping out on stuff and their Dad being like... nah you are fine, here i will make it all better... and they pat it or hug them... but when a parent starts freaking out it instantly seeps into a child. That is often how fear is created. I have seen 5 year old girls do snowboarding jumps and just fully wipe out hard... but their parents come in and talk in way that is calm or excited they tried it... and the kids learned that falling was part of it and pain was temporary. you can teach fearlessness... but you can also teach fear... and in most cases, fearlessness is taught from neglect and fear is taught out of love... as sad as that sounds. So parents parents that teach fearlessness is a heathy way... they are the best parents.

Yeah, that's why I became afraid of spiders. I wasn't afraid when I was little but I saw my mom react as if we were all inches from death, whenever she saw a spider, which made me more and more afraid of them.
