I've worked in the restaurant industry before and it's crazy how people that hire you, include tips into our paycheck😂 i worked hard to finally get to $20 an hour, and apparently i was making too much money. They said i didnt qualify for tips anymore. I quit found a job at the Legoland hotel and they started me at $24 an hour

Schools in Mexico are just like my local colleges in the US, although we get to chose our hours some classes can start at 9pm or as early as 7am

Wait, how is going to school in 2 shifts weird?! I thought everyone(at least in Europe) had a school system like that... in our elementary/middle school and in our high schools we have 2 shifts, first one from 8AM to 1-1:50 PM and second one from 2 PM to 7:50 or something like that and one week every class with odd numbers(1,3,5,7) do morning school and classes with even numbers(2,4,6,8) do afternoon school and it switches every week so you go one week morning shift and other week afternoon shift... same thing with high school...

The lady getting jump scared by the hawk kinda deserved it. Where I'm from a dog barking means something so we check it out and more often than not it's because of an intruding animal but sometimes they prevent actual life-threatening danger. I have personally been saved from being attacked in the middle of the night by masked men sneaking around trying to open closed doors and then pretending to be relatives, my dogs never bark at known people for more than an initial courtesy greeting bark so I knew something was wrong and got enough time to call for help. People need to listen to pets and children more attentively because being an adult and thinking you know everything and disregarding their words can have very serious consequences.

9:15 Delivery you should tip more than at a sit down restaurant. They aren't just bringing food from the kitchen to your table. They are putting wear and tear on their own personal vehicle to bring that food to you from a place several miles away. If you don't want to tip more to have food delivered order it and pick it up yourself. When I order pizza it's usually $30 for the food and I tip $15.

@@themxthical5025 Yeah, see...where I live they would just stop delivering to you. You tip 20% at a restaurant where all they do is bring the food out to you. For delivery those drivers are putting an extra 20-25k miles per year on their car so that your frumpy lazy ass doesn't even have to get up off the couch to have hot food delivered directly to your cockholster.

@@themxthical5025 They also end up paying higher premiums on their car insurance which adds up and if you get in to an accident forget about it. One of my best friends growing up was a delivery driver when we were younger and one night we had a massive blizzard. Did the pizza place he worked at close? Nope. They sent him out in a storm that had already dropped a foot of snow. He was HIT by another driver while he was at a red light and broke his arm. His boss told him "Well, you don't have a car and you can't do the work with a broken arm so I guess we'll have to let you go."

As a former doordash driver $5 isn't worth the drive to most places. For some reason they are allowed to bypass the federal minimum wage for tips employees and literally pay you $0 per hour. The only money that the drivers make is the tip that you give them, that's it. On top of that you have to pay two to three times as much money on car insurance because they all fraudulently demand that you have to pay for ridesharing insurance, that way if you get into an accident the medical bills for the food is also covered. On top of that you are classified illegally as an independent contractor, which means out of that $5 you get for the order you have to give the government back $2 during tax season. Realistically as a doordash driver, if you are even allowed to sign up for a shift, you will fairly regularly sit there for hours on end waiting for an order to come through, most of the time you'll get $3-$5 for 40 minutes in driving, plus however long it takes the kitchen to actually start your food. I've literally sat at certain restaurants for over 30 minutes at rush because they will not start your order till you get there, and every other order has already been filled. After that you have to drive to the location and drive back. If it's 15 minutes away that's 30 minutes plus however long it took you to actually get the food before you can make any more money. I've literally had orders where they expecting me to drive 40-50 minutes in One direction, literally across three different cities then have to drive back to get like $10 and have to pay even more than that for the gas took me to drive there and back. Doordash is an absolute scam. If you make $100 in a week you've probably spent like 40 to 50 hours trying to actually work, you've easily spend at least $40 in gas, you need to put aside another 40 for taxes, then that $20 you have left, you now have to take out of the extra $200 a month paying in car insurance. If you live a couple miles from the restaurant you're ordering from $5 is doable, but the restaurant is too far away for you to have somebody deliver it to you, they're not going to make any money for doing it unless you give them 15 20 $45 depending on just how far that is.
