When it comes to the sponsors on vids I think it’s obviously good as it helps the creators but as a viewer it can be boring but that all depends on how you show it off as some people do it really well like Max Fosh and make a skit or do a funny transition into a sponsored section.

I "discovered" the Sidemen through the meme review collab that JJ did with Felix in LWIAY and originally I thought JJ was the best Sidemen to watch but after watching all the Sidemen and more Sidemen videos I had to find something else to watch and Simon, my G, came through with the entertainment. I'm also a longtime NordVPN user since before I started watching some of the people they sponsor, and I like it a lot. Some ad reads can be pretty cringe, but if it's engaging and/or a cool product, I don't see anything wrong with taking sponsorships. Gotta make that bank somehow 🤷‍♀

I would judge someone doing a sponsor back in like 2011-2015 since KZbinrs were breaded up, but after the ad-pocalypse I think it just became the norm to have a sponsor especially if it was a channel like Cow Chop where they made adult(ish) content and all their videos got demonetized and it eventually ended up being apart of the reason the channel ended, that and James' exit
