Sidemen take breaks regularly. They’re just good with scheduling. Apart from Christmas, they offload members for certain videos at a time. But let’s not pretend like all 7 of them are present every week for years now. It’s been a while since they’ve been doing it this way. Beta Squad need to do something similar to keep up the consistency.

Now beta squad do need to get better at scheduling and I do feel like this break will help them get a mental reset and back on the grind. Also let’s not forget the sidemen had all members for every Sunday video, even when jj was in camp fighting Logan, he still showed up to record. It really wasn’t until 2 years ago that they decided to record even when a member was missing but by then they were doing it much longer than beta squad lasted in terms of weekly uploads. The issue is beta squad for some members isn’t #1 priority at the moment so it harder to record and schedule.

I think people don’t realize the difference between the sidemen and beta squad. Beta squad doesn’t have a big budget like the sidemen and not that much staff. Also people act like every week the sidemen have posted for ten years, which also isn’t true there have been multiple sidemen Sundays, which have been delayed by a bit and also they didn’t upload after the charity match.

D riding to me means not being able to criticise or take criticism on something you like. Which of us is doing that? The guy criticising the channel he used to love or the guy getting offended and calling the other a d rider of a channel he doesn't watch? And their run of videos have not been good. The most interesting thing they've done in the last year is Inside, which was interesting because of everyone else. They have done nothing recently that comes anywhere close to the tinders, the blind dates, the original holidays, or the pub golfs. It's why every funny moments compilation is from their older videos. MoreSidemen is still pretty good though
