Tyres kill. When a weakness in the tyre wall or tread becomes too great for the pressure within they explode. If you are close to that explosion it’s very likely to be lights out. That is why when you are taught to inflate car tyres between 28 & 34 psi depending you are taught to stand to the front or rear of the vehicle from the tyre so that any directional explosion is mostly absorbed by wheel arch or rest of vehicle before getting to you. Exploding car tyres will kill if too close. Please be extremely careful of your tyres and if the side wall or tread is visibly deformed do not try to inflate!
