The "Embrace the swarm modi as pad 1"-preset has that kind of warm sound that makes my heart melt. My kind of "deserted island" pad sound. Great job with the patches as always. What's your opinion about GForce Minimonsta 2 so far?

I don't quite have an opinion yet. I think it's good, but I miss not having a chorus effect, and I miss that it only has unison on and off, instead of doing it like: reducing the voices to 8 and going with partly unison, if you get what I mean. Somehow it's a bit hard to program (or..getting the sounds I want, I should say), oddly enough, since it's quite simple, with the filter and amount of contour. Doesn't quite behave the way I thought. I think I need to really get into how the macro stuff works too. Maybe read the manual a bit more and watch some tutorial stuff. I still like programming Synth1 the most out of all vsts I've tried. With that free synth the possibilities are endless it seems, even if it doesn't always sound that analogue.

I was quite impressed with the demo songs for it though, which is why I bought it in the first place. That's the weird thing about synth sound programming. In a mix or an arrangement it's not always the fattest sounds that fit the best. It's all about how the sounds fit together. A synth sound in a mix can sound totally amazing, but when you listen to it solo it can be really "meh".
