Man, those effects are incredible sounding! Good reverb and delay compliment the Minimoog nicely!

I saw a couple of your Minimoog videos pop up in my feed and it breaks my heart as I sold my last one 4 years ago which I so wish I had not but when needs must and all that. I have had 3 in my time and they are without a doubt my favourite synth to play. The Grandmother is great but there is something about the Minimoog that was alive. I will watch your videos and dream of the day when I own one again.

Incredible. Your videos are the best I've seen on the Mini Moog. You're mastery of this instrument is far and above anyone else I have ever seen. Seriously, love your stuff. I'm pretty sure Bob Moog is smiling.

Great playing and some lovely sounds from the venerable mini! Liked it a lot.

I remember reading a statement somewhere that guitarist used to hate the mini because it was the only thing that really had a chance at overpowering their sound. This would explain why.

Oh, I enjoyed the distortion alright! Too few synth players get gritty and nasty like this. Super cool, 👍!!
@wishusknight30095 жыл бұрын
too few synths are capable of that kind of grime with distortion, and still sound like ear porn.

Hi Jeremy, I use Cubase Pro 10. a little studio-tour I'll record for you soon... :-)

@@synthi62 That's the same DAW that I use. I think it's great although I do have some problems getting my Waves plugins to work. Looking forward to the studio tour!

Wow! Well done. This is the best video to show youngsters, why the small interface of the Behringer Model D does change the way you use the synth dramatically. BTW: which Minimoog oscillator board is this? Sound like one of the older versions. Not the 10xxx and above.
@synthi625 жыл бұрын
Thank you very much. Although I also use plugins like Diva, NI and Arturia, I always come back to Minimoog. The Minimoog has a board of the newer series Serialnumber over 11 +++..
@wishusknight30095 жыл бұрын
It sounded to me like a newer one but has possibly been modded or restored at one time. As it doesn't seem drifty. (my moog modular would drift all the way to mars before being restored)

sounds amazing. what year is your minimoog?
@Oscars73 жыл бұрын
It would appear to have Serial No 11975 ( 0:43) which would put it into the later years of production. This serial number is listed as registered to Synthi62 on “Lords of the mini” database. In 1981 serial number 13259 was the last production Mini Moog Model D, and was presented to Bob Moog. PS My own mini is Ser No 2469 which puts it at the other end of the production run.

Hi! What your thoughts about the Reissue? Do you think it's just as good as the original?

I have the reissue it sounds the same just a little brighter as the originals would have when they were new. Love the midi port!

I'm sorry - the minimoog still sounds a lot better than the behringer boog - I've got the boog and this one just has something extra - and no im not talking about the effects that are on this vid - its just more squeltchy - rich - juicy - the boog has none of these features - this vid sounds superb - my boog has never sounded superb - in the couple years ive had it - its never sounded rich and juicy like this
@lucasc56224 жыл бұрын
thats ok. i wouldnt be able to tell the difference. the boog has the sound but doesnt have the mojo that the minimoog does, and i think that makes a big difference on the playability of it.
