The governors have been receiving 300% of allocation since January, why can't pay 60k minimum wage? The same states clamouring for state Police can't pay 60k MW, tell me how they will be able to sustain state police and police with honesty and sincerity of heart. These are people feeding their dogs with over 300k weekly, they are saying they can't afford 60k MW. If they can't they should leave the stage for someone who can manage the resources of the state better.

I think is not being realistic, the issue of fuel subsidy removal has been blamed so much with the hardship in the country whereas there are other economic factors that have global influence responsible for part of the hardship. The organized labor were seek wage increase in the previous administration before the Tinubu's administration came onboard. The N30,000 minimum wage granted by Buhari was not affordable to some states in the Federation. We must not forget that minimum wage was from N18,000. Labor appeared not have presented a fight as they are doing now but as soon as the pronouncement came out of the president's mouth the organized labor broke loose. When the Buhari administration failed to include provision to the 2023 budget, Nigerians were given up to three months notice in advance that the fuel subsidy when end at the end of June 2023 that about 30 days for the new administration to begin governing. Everyone knows that the first 90 days or 100 days of any administration you are reviewing all records of previous administration looking out the programs and at the same put the team together. Without the amount court cases going on as result of the outcome of the election until the supreme court makes pronouncement as to who actually work the election and the party facing three opposition parties in court, Nigerians are very unfair to think that Tinubu is an extraordinary man who cannot be affected by such uncertainty about the outcome of the election. No Nigerian asked Buhari what plans he had on hand for not including the subsidy in his budget? He had three months months ahead before the deadline to come up some plan even if it was not completed before he leaves office for any incoming government. There was no continuity in that regards. When Nigerians come up the television to talk about the prices of foodstuff in the country the blame is incomplete without including the people who are taken undue advantage of the situation. Why should anyone buying foodstuff grown in his or her village use fuel subsidy removal as excuse why tomatoes in the village should be outpriced?

Any and all governors that signed that statement of the NGF that it cannot pay a minimum of 62,000 to a worker in today’s Nigeria is wicked and evil. Why do I say so? Some governors seem not to be living in Nigeria or aware of the needs that a man in Level 1 has for himself, his wife and their children as much as they have. When the individual governments did fail all Nigerians, all these years, it is not the average man that should be reduced to a subhuman as those governors are inferring to by that their insensitive statement coming from the NGF.
