I cannot agree less with him. Any increase on the minimum wage without the adjustment in pump prices will worsen the inflation. If the pump price is adjusted it will affect positively on every commodity. .

WHY IS NOBODY TALKING ABOUT FIXING ALL OUR REFINERIES? if we fix our refineries we won’t be having this discussion on subsidies naw, Why are we shying away from the real issues affecting us cos this is annoying, it seems as if we are under a spell to think about that?

People should understand that this wage of 250k will cause serious economic issues because 80% or more of civil servants don’t receive minimum wage. So with 250k, some workers in higher grade levels will get close to 2m per month and above. This will put more pressure on the economy and the private sectors. even some states will never be able to pay that. At the end of the day fuel price and commodities will go off the roof and the country will be back to the starting point…

… what labour should be fighting for first is reversal of some policies that have caused hardship and strain on the economy/naira before looking at minimum wage because too much money in hands of people… we all know what will happen

These Labour Strike will destroy Nigerians mostly many Politicians will be killed some will collapsed. Please what NLC will focused on Federal Government is to reduce OIL price between N100 to N150 then selling and buying in Markets will come down.than demanding N250,000 as basic salary because that is not solution, what will happen to 80% of Nigerians who are not working under Government, but they are foundation of this Countries growth . If the Market traders and Skill workers added more money in their products and goods, You Will notice that N250,000 basic salary will be Seen as N25,000 basic salary does that make a sense? No!
