Here's a tip,whenever you want to use prospector's pick always dig down with your pickaxe in the ore deposit because they're usually found deep underground and not just on the surface ,I mean you can use it while on surface but you have better luck while underground

I really appreciate the approach you're taking of a mixed Lets Play/Tutorial, with specific episode goals. And that you've set up the videos with chapters to make these easier to refer to. I've played TFC but haven't played HardRock, and I'm enjoying learning about it in an approachable way (especially without Hype Voice 3000!!!)

Thank you, I remember when I first started HardRock, there were no easy to follow guides on things, so I thought a more informative approach might be helpful to those who are learning. I’d highly recommend giving HardRock a go, it’s a blast!

Why are there so few mobs?

In HardRock, mobs don’t spawn on the surface, they have to spawn underground. Although, there are still wolves and bears etc. that will hunt you on the surface.

Fortunately, you don’t really need a house early on in HardRock, but there will be one in the future!
