Another thing to note is that both of the last couple have middle names that look like they could be surnames. It’s worth keeping a note of them as that name may come up as the surname of an ancestor and might help to tie up another knot in the family tangle. Also Marcella is not a standard ‘Caucasian’ name so worth keeping a look out to see if he, or his family immigrated. And keep note of the name of the minister, he could be a friend (fan club) or even a relative. I also check all the other names on a multiple record like this. My family were very prone to have siblings marry other siblings so I’d get bonus information for no cost. Or others on the page may come from the same local area and be neighbours or relatives. And if the witnesses to the marriage are the same on several records, they are likely to be church or state officials rather than relatives. Another great video. Thanks.

I saw a marriage license recently (think it was NC) there was a note that it was returned to the clerk unsigned or the marriage never happened
