Drinking Water(पीने का पानी )-Mines Act,Mines Rules,DGMS circular

This video is useful for OM/MS and manager's certificate exams
Provisions of drinking water has been stipulated in Mines Act,1952,Mines Rules 1955,Dgms circular etc.
1. The place of drinking water shall not be within 6m of any latrines,urinals or Washing place unless permitted by CI
2. As per Rule 30, the quantity of drinking water shall be 2litres/person employed at one time.
3. As per Rule 30: Where 100 persons or more are employed, either above ground or in opencast workings at any one time an Inspector may by order in writing require the drinking water to be effectively cooled by mechanical or other means available
4. As per (Cir. Welfare 1/1978): the quantity of drinking water given shall be 3litres/person whenever the WBT exceeds 30℃

when Wet bulb tem. Less than 30 so quantity of water- 50×2=100 and when Wet bulb tem. More than 30 so quantity of water - 50×3=150.
