Well I assume the reasoning was, fencing coach didn't see play at 3 mana even in a hero power focused expansion, waterboy didn't see play at 2 mana outside of budget hunter decks, let's make a 1 mana version and hope it doesn't break the game. And it didn't, tour guide is a pretty fun and strong card that allows a lot of stuff to shine, but not the card in anyones mind when they think about what went wrong with Hearthstone. It just makes sense that this card works at 1 mana but not at 2 or 3, since it's supposed to make your hero power cheaper. Tour guide actually generates tempo while the other 2 generate value. And the stats they bring to the table isn't a lot of value lol. What I'm trying to say I guess is that powercreep isn't always bad. They've powercreeped mechanics directly, way harder than they powercreeped actual cards in my opinion. Think about what you can do with battlecry synergy and mana cheating now, compared to battlecry and mana cheating in vanilla, and these were already the best mechanics in the game.

@@mhchx3 I'm not complaining about Tour Guide tho. Fair card. I'm glad it exists. New face hunter basically came out of my womb. Powercreep itself is pretty dumb, because it creates a big pool of useless cards. From a game design standpoint i would never do it.

Some of your decks have a ton of legendaries (ofc because they are necessary) but a lot of them are fairly cheap to craft/most players already have a majority of the cards. Dirty Rat is strong in this deck, helps beat Pirate Warrior, Reno Priest, some rarer combo decks like Exodia in both forms, snitching on Apprentice and Auctionmaster respectively, Tempo Demon Hunter, and even decks like Combo and Token Druid. The 2/6 body protects early, gets summoned from Call to arms, and sometimes wins games.

Roffle's D&T Demon Hunter is more fun than this one, imo. It runs mana burn and glide. Rebuke and Polkelt are pretty sweet here tho, and the anubs here were strong Also, D&T in MTG doesn't run enchantments. It's all creature-based stax. Enchantment-based stax is usually pillowfort

Quick editing tip to improve your videos: to get rid of the outline/glow of the green screen in Adobe premiere there’s a setting called blur exposure or something along that lines that will fix that area. Anyway Great video 🤙🤝

I think that may be due to the fact that reno decks are more likely to provide interesting games for youtube. Playing against reno decks involves avoiding Reno, but the important question is are there enough reno decks in the format to warrant the birb.

When you are significantly winning on board, when you have powerful or unconditional removal, or when you believe a combo turn is imminent. Examples include ~Dirty Rat + Brawl, ~Dirty Rat + at least 5 attacking minions, ~Dirty Rat + Death, Pain, BGH, Ironbeak, Shield Slam, Naturalize, Or other removal. Sometimes turn two is A-Ok in a meta where you know the deck based on their turn one or Baku Or Genn, or just deck prevalence or deck saturation at certain ranks. In general, trying to read your opponents gameplan to time Dirty Rat for when you have answers to what gets snitched out is essential.

I don't understand why Tarim isn't in this deck. You are always going wide, it gives you a finisher. Polket isn't even doing anything in the deck, its not like you have any synergy with it, or a combo. All it does is give you a second Lotheb draw, slows down your aggression and curve to do it as well.
