MiniPro RAID V4 USB-C (10Gbps) Dual Bay Enclosure

I have the V3 model of this and it had been working mostly fine with a pair of 5TB Seagate Barracuda HDDs for a few years. Aside from the occasional ‘disk ejected’ error (solved with a good quality Thunderbolt cable), everything was good… until I upgraded to an M3 Pro MacBook Pro with MacOS Sonoma and the drives would keep going to sleep (regardless of my OS settings and plethora of troubleshooting attempts) - but my other non-Sonoma Macs still worked fine with it. What I’d like to know is if you have had any issues with the V4 as I am contemplating upgrading to it?

Is the USB hub part of it only a hub? Like it won’t be pooled as the raid drives? Also wondering about the daisy chain feature if that only works as a hub as well. Not sure if you know anything about that. Thanks for your video!
