I would love to see the look on their faces when you roll up to the game table with this hoard and tell them how little you spent.

Wait until they lose to a dollar store army lol

Wow a $10 undead army. Sure beats the $70 to $100 cost of an official counterpart. Can't wait to see what you do with the other $10.

Really enjoying this series. I love anything on a budget, and wargaming with the big companies just takes the piss with regards to prices, so I'm really happy to see it's possible to set up an army for not much cash. Looking forward to seeing the terrain you build, and after you've finished this series, I'd love to see others in a similar vein. Cheers!

Now that is a vampire general with capital V. Scary, ugly, anorectic, undead and bloodthirsty son of a bat. Not some elf-like romanticized pretty boy from women-only novel.

Nice work. I have a challenge for you. Make wings out of scrap plastic or other materials. I have been brainstorming cutting the basic shapes out of soda bottle plastic, then adding the skeletal structure of the wings with toothpicks or hot glue. Could possible also do them with a sketal structure, then PVA+tissue paper for a mache-like approach.

For some added gore effects, like coming out of neck of the head on the base, you can apply some PVA glue, then some super glue. Swirling it around and stretching it out quickly, so it sets as gooey viscera or the like. Paint it red.

Do you use clay for your crafts?

@@DungeonMiser Ok, so what clay do you use for your other crafts?

@@ChaseDaOrk3767 I typically use whatever polymer clay is cheapest at the time. Dollar General has a good clay right now for example.

I love the work you have done with the army. Your skeletons look great. That being said tho the head choices for everything else really ruins the concept for me. What games were you eying for this army?
@DungeonMiser2 жыл бұрын
I could have gone for an all-skeleton army, but this show is more about inspiration than anything. Everyone has their own style, so I'm trying to show methods that can inspire your own builds and let you pick and choose what works best for you. This army was designed for miniature agnostic rules, but you could easily focus on a specific rule set and design your army around it.
